Actor Vicky Kaushal, who became a crowd favourite after his performance in URI: The Surgical Strike, is currently shooting for his next movie with Bhumi Pednekar. However, according to a leading newspaper, the actor has injured himself on the set of this film.
Vicky Kaushal fractured his cheekbone and got 13 stitches for the injury while shooting in Gujarat on April 18. Reports state that the crew including Vicky Kaushal had been shooting for Bhanu Pratap Singh’s untitled horror film for five days. The scene was being shot on an unused ship by the sea in the town of Alang, which is where the actor sustained his injury.

The actor had to run and open a door in the scene and during this the door fell on him instead. Sounds painful!
A source told the newspaper, “Unfortunately, the door fell on him and he was badly hurt. He was rushed to a local hospital by the crew and flown to Mumbai on Friday morning.”
This film will be Bhanu Pratap Singh’s directorial debut in Bollywood, after assisting in films like Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Zubaan. Vicky Kaushal will also be seen in Ticket To Bollywood, a romantic comedy produced by Karan Johar and directed by Anand Tiwari of Aisha fame. Starring Pulkit Samrat, Amyra Dastur, and Shweta Tripathi, Ticket To Bollywood is said to be based on the 2012 novel, and is all set to release in 2020.
Vicky has already bagged two awards for his supporting role in Sanju, a Filmfare and a Zee Cine Award. And we are sure the 2019 awards will come pouring in after URI‘s nominations.
