The only celebrity wedding this year has been Armaan Jain and Annissa Malhotra and fans went into a frenzy after looking at the pictures. Dulhe ki sisters, Kareena and Karisma were having the time of their lives dancing and having a gala time but of course, our eyes were stuck on the sarbala, baby Tim.
Post the #AnissaMaanGayi madness, fans were eagerly waiting for two more weddings in tinsel town. News sources said that Varun Dhawan was tying the knot to his longtime beau Natasha Dalal in the summer of 2020 and so were Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic both the weddings have been rescheduled to the end of the year.
According to Mid-day, a source was quoted saying, “Looking at the current scenario, they have decided to tentatively push the shaadi to November and have reverted to their original choice of destination, Thailand.
The source close to the couple also added saying that the original plan was to have a destination wedding in Thailand but they were also considering a very intimate ceremony in Mumbai.
“The initial plan was to have an intimate wedding on a private island in Thailand, but it was scrapped last month in favour of a destination wedding in Jodhpur. Eventually, they called that off too and were considering having a low-key ceremony in Mumbai”, the source added.
Earlier in February, Varun’s parents were spotted arriving at the Dalals’ residence for a fam-bam dinner and it was speculated that Varun and Natasha were having a roka ceremony under the wraps. However, the Student Of The Year star shut these as rumours.

Another couple who were ready to get married in April was Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal. But a source close to the couple told Mid-Day that the wedding has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Many guests were coming in from abroad and the wedding was to be in Delhi which is on shutdown due to COVID-19.
“Many of their guests were to fly in from the US and Europe for the do. Also, the couple was hoping to have their nuptials in Delhi, which is currently on partial lockdown. So, they think it’s best to delay the wedding to later this year,” said the source.
The two have allegedly been dating since 2015 and have starred in Fukrey and Fukrey Returns together. Earlier this month, Richa Chadha trended a great deal for posting on her Instagram story, what appeared to be her engagement ring.
Just remember to maintain safety and hygiene in case you are having your wedding during the coronavirus pandemic- remind your guests to wash their hands, keep santiser and alcohol swabs at the ready and be extra careful when you’re inviting people over the age of 65.
