What started with Kareena Kapoor referring to Natasha Dalal as Varun Dhawan’s fiance in her chat show recently, has quickly escalated in the past couple of weeks. Consequently, a lot has been speculated about their wedding. And while both Varun and uncle Anil Kapoor might have been quashing the rumours until yesterday, sounds like it’s actually happening after all.
Well, let’s just say that we have some scoop on the first celebrity wedding of 2021 and it’s happening sooner than we expected. As per the latest reports, Varun and Natasha are all set to tie the knot this month on January 25, and from what we hear, it is going to be a grand affair. “It will be dhoom-dhaam for five days,” shared a source with a news platform and further added, “Corona is still all over us but how long can you not move forward? It’s been ten months now.”
Here’s what another source shared with a popular Bollywood news platform: “I just received an e-invite and I am happy that finally, it’s happening. You might see many B-Towners heading to Alibaug to attend David Dhawan’s son Varun Dhawan’s Wedding. It’s going to be a big fat Punjabi wedding with all the wedding festivities.” As per the reports, it is going to be a 5-day affair at Alibaug and celebs are already gearing up to make it to the venue.
Meanwhile, it has also been revealed that Natasha Dalal would be designing her own wedding lehenga which sounds fitting given that she’s quite an accomplished designer herself.
It was just earlier this week that Varun too had commented on the topic and expressed the intentions of tying the knot this year itself. Here’s what he had to say, “Everyone is talking about this (his marriage) for the last two years. There is nothing concrete right now. There is so much uncertainty in the world right now, but if things settle down (COVID and its impact), then maybe this year. I mean… I am planning for it definitely soon. But let there be more certainty.”
