With Student Of The Year 2, Karan Johar is all set to launch another star kid this May and whether for good reasons or bad, SOTY2 is one of the most talked about films right now. Recently, the makers of the film released The Hookup Song starring Alia Bhatt and Tiger Shroff and the audience is not too amused. While some fans think that Tiger and Alia have sizzling chemistry, others feel that the song is sexist.
The song starts off with Tiger Shroff waking up in his dream, shirtless, of course. Alia appears in his room in a hot pink nightgown and the two rotate around a pole for 25 seconds. And then they start dancing.
To me, the song has pretty baseless lyrics and looks like a commercial for a clothing brand. Alia is seen wearing super glam clothes and well Tiger is always flaunting his rock-solid abs. Looks like the makers spent all the money on Alia and Tiger didn’t get too many clothes to wear. Strangely, Alia is seen wearing the same footwear, but keeps changing clothes at the drop of a beat. I happened to notice that Alia and Tiger’s noses keep bumping all through the song and it’s super weird. Also, the two don’t have the best chemistry, I’d say.
