The bride’s dance performance is a wedding favourite among all attendees, and sometimes instantly goes viral. After all, brides are leaving no stone unturned to make this performance their most memorable one. From choosing the perfect song with snazzy lyrics to hiring professional choreographers, it is a whole new (read fun) shaadi ki rasam. But, this bride needed none of the above to go viral, just her folksy dancing skills.
Pratishtha Arora’s dance performance on her wedding is what you will think of when Hauli Hauli plays at a shaadi next time. The Delhi-based makeup artist didn’t just do her own makeup at her wedding, but also nailed her first dance as a married woman on the dance floor. Instead of a well-rehearsed performance, she gave a spontaneous one on the De De Pyaar De song with an amazing fusion of Punjabi gidda and groovy faff. Oh, we cannot not watch it on loop.
She looks lovely dancing in her gorgeous red bridal lehenga by Mehar Couture teamed with jewellery by Rahul Luthra. We are loving it! Whoever said happy brides are the prettiest could not be more right. Won’t you agree? She shared the video on her Instagram with the caption, “P.S. I only see the cutest groom dancing behind me♥️” Awww!
Pratishtha and Sahil, or #Sahirishtha as they’re hashtagging it, recently got married in Delhi. They have known each other for 9.5 years now and “It’s unbelievable to even think where we have reached,” says Pratishtha talking about their relationship. Here are a few moments from their wedding festivities as shared by the bride herself:
Pratishtha had planned this video as a small wedding surprise for her now-husband Sahil. “This is something that’s really really close to my heart,” she wrote in the caption. We wish #Sahirishtha a very happy married life more such dances together.
