“We had common makeup artists – Bharat and Dorris. Dorris is really fond of us, and she told me that Ranbir is a really sweet guy and we should meet up,” said Deepika.

“Sometime in July 2007, he asked me out for lunch. He came and picked me up and we went to Celini at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai,” said Deepika.

“Mr Bean’s Holiday is the movie we watched at PVR Cinemas in Juhu,” said Ranbir.

“We started seeing each other on February 23, 2008,” admitted the Padmaavat actress.

“The best part is that there is no negativity in her. When I’m with her, I am surrounded by goodness. It makes me good in some way,” Ranbir revealed.

“That she is a flirt. That she is working too much and should not burn herself out. She should take more holidays and breaks and should reserve herself, which she has started doing now.”

“Yes, I have cheated, out of immaturity, out of inexperience, out of taking advantage of certain temptations, out of callousness. You realise it now when you grow up and you value it more why be in a relationship, why to be committed to someone when you cannot be committed?” admitted Ranbir.
9. What did Deepika confess after they part ways?
“The first time he cheated on me, I thought there was something wrong with the relationship, or me. But when someone makes a habit of it, you know the problem lies with him. I give a lot in relationships and don’t really expect much in return. But, infidelity is the deal breaker. Once it comes in, respect goes away, trust goes away and these are the pillars of a relationship you can’t f*ck around with it,” the actress had said.
10. What does Ranbir think about doing more movies with Deepika?
“I don’t want to lose the opportunity to work with her due to headlines about us. I understand the value she brings to a film not just commercially but also to my performance.”
