There’s something about sangeets that I absolutely love. It’s the most chilled out and fun function of the celebrations where the bride and groom actually let their hair down, hit the dance floor and have a gala time. There’s a whole lot of booze, there’s loads of dancing and too much masti. All the bridesmaids’ performances, the mother-daughter love and the groom setting fire to the stage with his swag are all things I live for.
We’ve found this dance video of sisters Rashi and Swati Biyani showcasing their talent on sangeet function and it’ll move you to tears. They had their childhood photos playing on the screen in the background, while the two danced on Jaane Kyun together.
They even recreated one of their bachpan ki photos where the bride is owning it with shades and throwing sass like confetti. Photographs on the big day to remind you of your childhood is such a sweet way of paying a tribute to the relationship you’ve shared with your parents and siblings.
Ahhh, our hearts are full.
