For Autumn/Winter 2020/2021, rich and minimalistic hues take centrestage, as per Pantone’s forecast. “Offering a rich narrative, the colour palette for Autumn/Winter 2020/2021 highlights our desire for versatile, timeless colour. Reflecting a ‘less is more’ mindset that is becoming increasingly important to consumers prioritizing value and functionality, our colour palette is stripped of excess,” reads a statement on the website.
Taking all that into account, it’s not surprising that the “smooth and subtle off-white shade” of Almond Oil emerges as the comforting tone we are eyeing. A cross between ecru and camel, the colour pertaining to the off-white family imparts a sense of calm and comfort, something we could definitely use.
