By now, we’re pretty sure you’ve heard the name Tara Sutaria, the face of Ritu Kumar’s new campaign. The diva has shot to fame after coming into the limelight, thanks to our very own KJo. Her social media following has shot up – yep, she now has more than 200k followers on Instagram. And her effortless fashion and fresh makeup has everyone asking, “Who’s that girl?!”
Tara, who is set to make her Bolly debut with Karan Johar’s film Student Of The Year 2, with Tiger Shroff and Ananya Panday, has now bagged another project. That too, before her first Bollywood release! Reportedly, she had, earlier, been locked in for Shahid Kapoor’s Arjun Reddy remake. However, she couldn’t go ahead with the project as there was a clash of dates due to SOTY 2 having been pushed up.

Clearly, that little setback didn’t stop her. The diva has already secured a spot with Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh. The film is being helmed by Milap Zaveri but not much else is known about the project. We just know that Sid and Riteish are an excellent jodi. They have wowed us in Ek Villain before, Sidharth and Riteish’s only Bollywood film before this recent development, haven’t they? We’re sure they’re going to be smashing this time around too.
Another thing that’s interesting to note is that both Tara and Sidharth are Dharma prodigies. Sid made his debut with Alia and Varun in Student Of The Year and Tara is all set to be set the stage on fire with Student Of The Year 2.

Tara Sutaria has earlier only been seen on the small screen in Disney channel shows, The Suite Life of Karan and Kabir and Oye Jassie. She was also a VJ with the channel and is a trained dancer and singer too. Good for you, Tara!
Well, we can’t comment on her acting skills yet but seeing that she’s already bagged such big projects with massive budgets, there is obviously something special about the girl. We can’t wait to see the stunning starlet shine on the big screen.
