Taapsee Pannu is not the one to talk about her personal life on social media or during media interviews. If you scroll through her Insta feed, you’ll notice that it is all about work and fashion. And she definitely prefers to keep her love life under wraps. The actress also expects the paparazzi to respect her privacy too. However, during a recent interview with a digital magazine, we think she may have let her guard down. The Bollywood star revealed that she is in a relationship and the guy is neither an actor nor a cricketer!
Taapsee said, “I’m not married and people who are genuinely interested in my life not just to make gossip columns about it, know about it. Whoever is the person in my life is not into the profession where people are more curious about him. He is not an actor or a cricketer. He’s not even from here around.”
And Taapsee wasn’t the only person getting interviewed here, her younger sister, Shagun Pannu, was there too. Shagun was quick to make a comment on Taapsee’s dating life. “Now, she may have got lucky. Taapsee must thank me because it was because of me that she met him. Honestly, apart from him and another guy who I liked, but I don’t know where from Taapsee finds these weird guys. First of all, they are so ugly,” Shagun added. To which Taapsee quickly responded, “I have kissed a lot of frogs before meeting my prince.”
Now that’s what we call a perfect comeback!
Taapsee also spoke about her views on marriage and said that she won’t go fo an elaborate wedding. She said, “I will get married only when I want to have babies. I want to have kids out of wedlock. I don’t want an elaborate wedding either. It will be one long day with close friends and family. This multiple-Olympic silver medallist badminton player Mathias Boething is too tiring. It will be like a compact one-day thing.”
If rumours are to be believed, Taapsee Pannu has been in a relationship with Denmark-based Olympic silver medallist and badminton player, Mathias Boe. The two have earlier been spotted together on their lunch dates.
Earlier, in an interview with a leading daily, Taapsee said that she was extremely proud of her relationship status, “Now, why I don’t talk about it in the media is not because I’m ashamed to accept it, but because if I do, then everything will be centred around that and people will start talking about that more than the work I do, which I don’t want. That is the only reason I don’t want to talk about it. Otherwise, I’m extremely proud of my relationship status and the person I’m with,” the actress explained.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Taapsee’s most recent film, Mission Mangal, received raving reviews! India’s first space film, the movie not only took the domestic box office by storm but the international one as well. Taapsee’s next film project is Saand Ki Aankh, which is slated to hit the silver screens in September this year. She’s currently busy shooting for her next film Thappad. Well, she sure has her hand full!
