Bollywood actor Swara Bhasker is fierce. She has killer confidence that no amount of trolling can shake. Ever since her masturbation scene in Veere Di Wedding, Swara has been a constant target for trolls. Even during the recently concluded Lok Sabha Elections, the actress was mocked by people holding the slogan ‘Use your finger wisely’ on placards at polling stations. But the actress is still vocal about issues that matter to us. Case in point: Orgasms.
The Raanjhanaa actress has joined hands with the popular sexual wellness brand, Durex, to talk about #OrgasmInequality. “Everyone should have the right to pleasure! Fake orgasms are a real thing and should not be,” wrote Swara in an Instagram post. That’ll show ’em trolls!

Durex posted the same video with the caption, “Stop faking it and start talking about it, we’re with you @ReallySwara. To all the ladies, have you ever faked it? Just comment with #IFakedItToo. #OrgasmInequality.”
Previously, Swara had spoken about the problem of orgasm among Indian women, “They say numbers tell a story, and these numbers tell a story that must change. @durex.india statistics suggest that 70% women do not orgasm everytime they have sex. This orgasm inequality has to go! We need to talk about it and for real this time. #OrgasmInequality.”
Thankfully, now we are.

And, women are all for the campaign. “Finally someone said it,” a user wrote. “This is what I have been thinking in 12 years of marriage but couldn’t explain to my husband,” wrote another. Of course, the internet is divided as always, but we think it’s about time we talked about sexual pleasure in a healthy manner.
There couldn’t be a better artist to hail the discussion than Swara Bhasker. Way to go, girl.
