A single mother, who adopted her elder daughter Renee in 2000, in 2010 she embraced motherhood again and adopted Alisah. Today, as her younger one turned a year older, Sushmita shared the most adorable birthday wish for her. And we’re all hearts for it.

The Aarya actress took to her Instagram handle to wish her ‘shona’ as Alisah turned 11. She shared a series of pictures with a heartwarming note. Sushmita wrote, “Happy Birthday love of my life!!! Sushmita is a proud mommy and her Instagram feed is full of adorable pictures and videos of her daughters. From spending time with beau Rohman to sharing throwback pictures of Alisah and Renee, the actress often treats us with some cheerful fam moments and they’re all so adorable.
Earlier, Sushmita spoke about how she told Alisah that she was adopted. And to do so, she came up with the term “born from the heart”. While talking to a media portal, the actress said, “I told her (Renee), Biological is boring… everybody is born from somebody’s stomach. Why would you want that?
