It’s been over a month since Sushant Singh Rajput left us but his fans and family are still trying to come to terms with his tragic demise. His death by suicide sparked a debate over mental health, nepotism and favouritism in Bollywood, and has now been reduced to a blame game on social media. Amidst all of this, the late actor’s father Krishna Kant Singh lodged an FIR against actor Rhea Chakraborty and her family members, accusing them of abetting Sushant’s suicide. And now, the actor’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, is urging fans to help them get justice for Sushant.
Shweta, who has been quite active on social media since her brother’s demise, took to her Instagram handle and wrote, “Let’s stand united, let’s stand together for the truth! #Indiaforsushant #Godpleasehelpus #Seekingstrengthandunity”.
Soon after, her followers flooded her Insta post with messages in support of the actor.

Earlier, Shweta had also posted a picture from Sushant’s prayer meeting in Patna and wrote, “If truth doesn’t matter, nothing ever will! #justiceforsushantsinghrajput.”
A day after the FIR was registered, the actor’s ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande, in a cryptic Insta post, wrote, “Truth wins”. While she didn’t mention any names, Shweta replied to her post and wrote, “God is always with the truth”.
If reports are to be believed, Bihar police quizzed Ankita, during which she revealed the last chat exchanged between her and Sushant. The chats apparently showed that Sushant was quite unhappy with the relationship with Rhea and wanted to end it as she harassed him. Ankita, who had dated the late actor for six years, shared the chats with Shweta when she went to Bihar after Sushant’s demise.
Meanwhile, the four-member team landed in Mumbai to investigate the claims made by Sushant’s father but found Rhea missing from her residence in the city. According to reports, Rhea is possibly planning to file an anticipatory bail against the FIR and hence, she is not coming in contact with the police.
It’s been a roller coaster ride for Sushant’s family ever since the actor died by suicide on June 14, leaving behind many unanswered questions. As ugly as it’s getting, we hope justice prevails soon.
