Actor Suneil Shetty has given a stamp of approval to daughter Athiya Shetty’s rumoured boyfriend, cricketer KL Rahul. Yes, you read that right! This comes at a time when cricketer Hardik Pandya and actress Natasa Stonkovic have decided to spend the rest of their lives together. So, are we looking at another cricketer-actress jodi in the making?
While speaking to a leading entertainment portal, Suneil Shetty spilled the beans about his kids’ love lives. He further revealed that he is fond of the people Ahan and Athiya are dating. “I love Ahan’s girlfriend (Tania Shroff) and I love who Athiya is seeing. I do not have a problem with that, Mana (Suniel Shetty’s wife) doesn’t have a problem with that and they are happy.”
The Hera Pheri star further stressed on the importance of happiness in a relationship. “We love the kids and the kids they are dating. Absolutely love them and I think more than profession, being happy in life is very important today because that is the space I think that is missing,” said Suneil. Well, don’t we all agree to this daddy’s advice to his kids?
Athiya and KL Rahul have been the talk of the town for a while now, but the gossip mills started doing the rounds ever since they got back from a New Year getaway in Thailand. This was after the cricketer shared a picture with Athiya on his Instagram account.
