The OG princess of Cannes, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja has successfully concluded another day at the Festival de Cannes. We absolutely loved her first red carpet look. The ethnic and traditional vibe took us back to her Mehendi look and even far back to Saawariya, her first movie. We realised, that even on day two, Sonam was paying homage to a lot of her favourite hair and makeup looks.
Look 1: Bold Lip And Sleek Bun
Supremely on-trend and surprisingly androgenous, Sonam’s first look for day two was a simple eye makeup look with bold lashes and a dark lip to contrast her holy grail white shirt blue denim look. She was seen wearing Simone Rocha, Bhane and Sergio Rossi. We have seen her sporting this effortless bun on numerous occasions along with androgynous outfits before and we have loved it just as much!
Look 2: Nude And Effortless With Sleek Low Ponytail
Her second look was an outdoor shoot and she was seen wearing an Emilia Wickstead dress, Sophia Webster shoes and Bottega Veneta shades. Her makeup was pretty nude and basic and her FAVOURITE sleek ponytail made an appearance at the shoot.
Look 3: Gold Smokey Eye And Messy Low Bun
Finally, dressed in Vera Wang, Sonam made her way for her second red carpet. This look DEFINITELY took us back in time. She sported a messy low bun, very similar to the one she sported last year and her golden smokey eye made a comeback from Cannes last year with a more sunshine yellow vibe. We totally dig it!
