We absolutely LOVE it when our favourite Bollywood divas explore and cross their makeup and hair threshold. Breaking barriers of beauty, moving forward. Whoops, a little too heavy for a Wednesday afternoon right?
Well, as usual, our mornings here go by in Insta stalking our favourite celebs and beauty gurus. We usually discuss if we find something new and even add stuff to our wishlist and archive looks we want to try. We were just discussing how celebrities are playing it safe for the summer and how we relate to that sentiment. Ain’t nobody got time to put on a face just to see it melt a while later! (BTW we also have ways to stop your makeup from melting just in case you didn’t have a choice). Enter our colleague with some groundbreaking news!
An image, from an event, that Sonakshi Sinha attended last night. She couldn’t stop raving about the hairdo and we immediately started dissecting the hairstyle.
The Look
It is a braided headband look made to the back of the head. We love the messy structure of the hair and the blonde streaks in the middle of the braid are giving it some structure. The rest of the makeup was pretty subtle and fresh, ideal for the summer.
Braids almost always look great on coloured hair. Highlighted hair gives the braids some sort of a dimension. The easiest way to do this to any braid is to just add a hair extension in a different colour in between your braids.
