Sonakshi Sinha Gets Trolled For Not Knowing An Answer On Kaun Banega Crorepati

Remember Alia Bhatt’s debut on Koffee With Karan? The actress confused the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Prithviraj Chavan with the President of India and everyone had a laugh riot. There were memes, videos, and jokes shared about it for a long time. Guess once something is out for the public eye, netizens have to give their two cents about it.

This time, a similar situation has arisen with Dabangg star Sonakshi Sinha who is being mercilessly trolled on the social media right now.

Sonakshi Sinha is being targeted by social media trolls after making an appearance on the popular TV game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 11.

Sonakshi extended her support to social worker Ruma Devi by coming as a special guest on popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. The duo managed to win a grand prize of Rs 12,50,000 while playing, but something else caught everyone’s attention. On the show, the Lootera actress failed to answer a Ramayana related question that she was asked.

The question that baffled Sonakshi was, “According to Ramayana, Hanuman fetched the Sanjeevani herb for whom?” She wasn’t sure of the correct answer and guessed Sita and Ram first. However, she finally used a lifeline of Ask The Expert to get the correct answer, which was Lakshman.

Tweeople obviously did what they do best and made memes about it. The hashtag ‘YoSonakshiSoDumb’ was even trending on the micro blogging site. 

Some netizens reminded everyone that Sonakshi Sinha lives in a house called ‘Ramayana’ with her father Shatrughan (whose siblings are named after Ram and his brothers) and the star’s own brothers are named Luv and Kush.

Sometimes, we forget that stars are human too and they can make the same mistakes we do. It’s easier to hate on a celebrity but maybe put ourselves in their shoes and understand what a struggle it could be to be scrutinised by public constantly. Hang in there Sonakshi, this too shall pass.

On the work front, Sonakshi was last seen in Misson Mangal alongside Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan. She has a few projects lined up as well like Dabangg 3 and Bhuj: The Pride Of India which we are looking forward to.
