Desi Girl Vibes! Shweta Tiwari & Divyanka Tripathi Take Over KKK Sets In Their Sarees

Remember when Alize (Anushka Sharma) from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil wanted to dance in the freezing French Alps while wearing a chiffon saree? Well, I absolutely supported the hustle. In fact, I wanted to do it too. Please don’t @ me–Bollywood did this to all of us. But nope, I am not complaining! And neither are Khatron Ke Khiladi contestants Shweta Tiwari and Divyanka Tripathi who are currently shooting for the show in Cape Town, South Africa.

Well, both Shweta and Divyanka recently took to social media to share their saree-clad pictures from the KKK sets. Now, to say that we are quite impressed would be a little bit of an understatement ‘coz the fact is that we are lovestruck. Here is everything that we are loving about their looks:

Fuelling our Bollywood saree fantasies, Shweta Tiwari recently decided to don a floral, chiffon saree during her KKK shoot. The gorgeous baby pink saree by Aari India featured a lightly embellished scalloped border and gorgeous rose prints scattered all over the gossamer fabric. She paired it with a sleeveless, fuchsia blouse and finished off her look with minimal earrings.

The actress kept it rather understated in the makeup department as well and went for a pinking nude lippie and subtly flushed cheeks. Here is how you can recreate the look:

Divyanka Tripathi’s Desi Take On Beachwear

It was just last week that Divyanka had taken to social media to share a picture of her casually sauntering the beach in a glorious ruffled saree. “#BeachWear jo mann aur tann ko bhaaye. 😉🏄‍♀️🥻,” she captioned the post and well, we totally back the philosophy.

Also, we kinda prefer Divyanka’s refreshing organza beauty over Shweta’s floral saree look. The actress paired her maroon Sutra saree with a statement blouse featuring mirror work and thread embroidery. Well, all that we are saying is that this is the kind of flamboyance that we expect every time someone drapes a saree in a foreign country. Show-stopping and how!
