The wedding preparations of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta are in full swing. Ahead of the big day, the couple had their mala and mehendi ceremony in Mumbai. A video from the ceremony is doing the rounds on the internet in which the Ambani bahu is seen shaking a leg with her squad.

The Ambanis and Mehtas recently organised a week-long Anna Seva in which they served food to over 2000 underprivileged children.

After the Anna Seva, a cute video went viral on the social media and everyone went gaga over Akash Ambani’s adorable gesture towards his soon-to-be wife. While the couple was posing for the cameras, Akash made a polite request to the paps to capture Shloka’s smile as she gets nervous in front of the cameras.
Last month, the families also hosted a pre-wedding bash for the new couple at St. Moritz in Switzerland with the entire B-town in attendance. Pop music band The Chainsmokers and Chris Martin of Coldplay were invited to perform at the glitzy event. Later, a Harry Potter themed bash was organised in Mumbai with Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa setting the mood for the night.
Akash and Shloka are childhood sweethearts who’ve known each other since they were 4 years old. Shloka is the youngest daughter of diamond merchant Russel Mehta and Mona Mehta. She is a director of her father’s company Rosy Blue Foundation and also the co-founder of ConnectFor, a company that connects volunteers to NGOs. The couple had a lavish engagement last year that went on for three days. The big fat wedding is on the 9th of March.
