There’s no one else in India who does weddings like the Ambanis and that’s not even up for debate. Isha Ambani’s wedding guest list included Hilary Clinton and for God’s sake, it doesn’t get more royal than that. They also had the entire Bollywood clan dancing on the stage as part of the sangeet festivities and we couldn’t get enough of those videos.
Now, there’s another wedding in the Ambani khandaan. Well, not exactly the family but soon-to-be for sure. Radhika Merchant, who’s dating the younger son of Mukesh Ambani has been a part of all their celebrations. During Akash’s wedding, Anant and Radhika posed for the shutterbugs along with the rest of the family and it looked like a perfect family portrait.
Now, the soon-to-be choti bahu’s sister, Anjali is tying the knot in Goa and we’ve got all the pictures.
For the wedding, Radhika wore a turquoise lehenga with a jacket and dupatta and boy, we’re floored by how pretty she looks. The entire lehenga had floral detailing in pink and green and she layered it with a kundan and emerald neckpiece along with matching jhumkas. She even added some silver bangles because are you even at a desi wedding if your bangles aren’t clinking together?
As for the makeup, she kept it simple and fresh- going for a flawless base, blush and bronzer to add colour to the cheeks, defined brows and a slightly smoked out lashline. She put on a pretty pink lipstick to finish it off and omg, so sundar.
For the mehendi, the bride, Anjali Merchant and her choti sister, Radhika twinned in yellow. The latter wore a floor-length anarkali with chikankari work, gold detailing and a ruffled dupatta while the former wore a plain yellow suit. She accessorised with traditional gold jewellery including a layered neckpiece, maangtika and jhumkis.
The mehendi was done by the legendary artist, Veena Nagda who also did Sonam Kapoor’s mehendi. Guys, if you ever want a Bollywood-approved artist for your shaadi, she’s the one you have to go to!
