Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan’s ‘will-they-won’t-they’ saga has been going on ever since the Kedarnath actress admitted she has a crush on Kartik. We don’t know if the two actors are dating in real life, but all the #Sartik fans were super excited when Imtiaz Ali roped them in for the sequel of Love Aaj Kal.

Now, after two months of shooting, Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan have finally wrapped up Imtiaz Ali’s directorial. The last leg of the film was shot in Himachal Pradesh. While shooting in the scenic beauty of the hills, Sara and Kartik shared some adorable BTS moments together.
Yesterday, director Imtiaz Ali announced the wrap up of the film, and soon after, Sara took to Instagram to pen an emotional note for the team of the movie. She thanked Imtiaz for making her dream come true and went on to write about her relationship with co-star Kartik: “It’s a WRAP!! 66 days & a million memories ❤️🌈 Thank you @imtiazaliofficial for making my dream come true🤗🤩 I truly appreciate your warmth, patience and consideration with me every single day. Being on your set has been a privilege that I will always cherish and already miss🙏🏼 🎈 Thank you @kartikaaryan for instantly making me comfortable with you, for selflessly giving and for consistently looking out for me. From coffee’s about you to chai’s with you, I wish we could do it all over again ☕️ 🧿💓 I’m going to miss you more than you know and more than I can admit 🤭🤦🏻♀️”
Aww, isn’t that cute? Kartik, too, thanked the team, reciprocated his love to Sara and wrote a heartfelt post on Instagram. He referred to Sara as her “saathi” and also called her a “princess”: “When Veera says “…Par yeh raasta, yeh bahut accha hai. Mein chahti hoon ki yeh raasta kabhi khatam na ho” This is what shooting with @imtiazaliofficial feels like. 66 days were wayyy too less. Ranveer Singh, who shares a nice rapport with his Simmba actress, interjected in this mush fest and commented on Sara’s post, “So cute ! 😍 bhoolna nahi sabse pehle kissne milwaya thha 😂☝🏽”. Right after Sara Ali Khan admitted that she’d love to go on a date with Kartik Aaryan on Koffee With Karan, Ranveer played cupid and introduced the actors to each other on an award show. And look, how far they’ve come!
Randeep Hooda, who plays a pivotal role in the film, also took to Twitter to share pictures from the wrap up party. He captioned the post: “It’s a WRAP!! 66 days & a million memories 🙂 #ImtiazAli ’s next starring @TheAaryanKartik, #SaraAliKhan and @RandeepHooda.”

The film, which is said to be the sequel to the 2009 hit love story Love Aaj Kal, is slated to hit the screens on Valentines Day 2020. We’ll have to wait and see if #Sartik translates the chemistry they share in real life to the big screen.
