Health problems seem to have taken over the Bigg Boss house this season and it is certainly not what we wanted. It started with Devoleena Bhattacharya who had to leave the Bigg Boss house due to her spine problem, then Paras Chabra, who suffered a serious finger injury (for which he got operated on), and later Sidharth Shukla who was moved to the secret room because he got down with typhoid. If rumours are to be believed, the latest name in this list is that of none other than the host of the show, Salman Khan.
According to various media reports doing the rounds, the Sultan actor is quitting the show owing to health conditions. A source close to him told one of the leading news portals that he has recently recovered from Trigeminal Neuralgia which is a condition that doesn’t allow him to get very angry as it would disturb his nerves. “Every week, one or the other participant is getting on to his nerves, which is not good for Salman’s health”, revealed an industry source.
The Dabangg star’s family, however, has refuted any such rumours. His father, Salim Khan, has gone on the record to say that Salman’s health is fine and nobody from their family has asked him to quit the show. Another report, however, suggests that he is upset with the contestants’ behaviour on the show which is why he might quit.
Well, now that we’ve heard enough stories, let’s hear the truth from the horse’s mouth. The Bajrangi Bhaijaan of Bollywood told a leading news agency that a part of him does want to cut himself off from the show. “Yeah, a part of mine wants to cut that part and throw it out and the other part wants to keep it. And the latter is haavi (dominates) on the part that wants to throw it out,” Well, Salman does sound perplexed indeed, as far as continuing with the show is concerned.
However, if at all there is any truth in these rumours, who would then step into his shoes post January?
Farah Khan, guys- a huge fan, an ardent follower of the reality show and a dear friend of Salman Khan. Reports suggest that she might take over in January. Well, this certainly doesn’t come as a surprise as Farah has also hosted an extended part of the show last year.
For those who don’t know, Salman has been associated with Bigg Boss since 2011 (fourth season) and his exit might not go down well with those who follow the show closely. We can only wait for the truth to surface!
