Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla are undeniably our most favourite jodi from Bigg Boss 14. The couple, however, made a shocking revelation about their marriage while inside the BB house. It was during one of the tasks when Rubina spoke about how the couple almost got divorced before coming to the BB house. Rubina also revealed that they had given each other six months’ time before they make a decision. And it was also inside the house that this television couple managed to fix their relationship and fall in love with each other all over again. Ever since the lovebirds have stepped out of the Bigg Boss house, they’ve been letting us in on their relationship secrets. And now the duo has made another interesting revelation.
In an interview, Abhinav shared that coffee was the main source of conflict between him and Rubina. He further elaborated that the two are strong individuals with strong opinions which led to clashes and made sparks fly! “Well, if I honestly tell you, you will laugh. I forgot to bring her coffee. I am not kidding. See, there were things. We are two very strong individuals. We have very strong opinions aur dono ki soch aapne toh dekh hi liya hoga Bigg Boss mein, alag-alag hai. Toh jab woh soch clash hoti hai, sparks fly. Lockdown was a difficult phase for everyone, and so it was for us. We gave ourselves six months,” said the actor.
This response did raise a few eyebrows but the Bigg Boss 14 winner shot down hubby dearest’s claims. Rubina cleared the air and said that they did not almost get divorced because Abhinav forgot to get her coffee. Calling the coffee incident ‘one of the many thousand examples’ Rubina joked that she would punch him’ for saying something so absurd! “We are two strong individuals, as they say in our contemporary times — alpha male and alpha female,” added Rubina.
During the reality show, we saw Abhinav and Rubina standing up for each other when it mattered the most. #RubiNav also had their fair share of fights during the show but they also had some heartwarming moments that left us in awe. From celebrating Karwa Chauth to grooving to Biwi No. 1, these two really left us with some important life lessons.
