With Pavitra Punia’s eviction and a roast session by the contestants, Bigg Boss 14‘s last night’s episode turned out to be quite something. Tears were shed, friendships went kaput, allegations were made, and challenges were raised, everything together in just one explosive episode. However, it was the promo for Monday’s episode that served to be the major shocking point for the Bigg Boss audience last night.
In Monday’s promo, contestants can be seen making some shocking and emotionally charged confessions so as to win the immunity stone possessed by Rubina. During the same task, Rubina Dilaik can be seen making a heartbreaking revelation as Abhinav listens to it teary-eyed. In the clip, Rubina can be seen coming clean with the truth behind their marriage and how they almost got divorced before entering the Bigg Boss house.
“Humne ek dusre ko November tak ka time diya tha. We were about to get divorced. Agar yahan dono saath nahi aate, toh shayad sath bhi na reh paate (We had given each other time till November. We were about to get divorced. If we hadn’t come here we would not have been together),” she can be seen confessing in the clip. After the confession, Rubina can be seen breaking down. The revelation has come across as quite a shocker for #Rubinav fans given that the two have been setting some serious couple goals throughout the season. Throughout their journey in the Bigg Boss 14 house, the two have played like a team and supported each other unconditionally.
In fact, in one of the episodes, Rubina ended up declaring war against both the show and Salman Khan after she felt like her husband had been disrespected by the host. Abhinav too has been fighting for Rubina whenever the situation arises and never lets anyone utter a single word against his wife. Yes, they have been seen engaging in minor indifference but that’s pretty much every relationship ever, right?

That said, in the very first episode of Bigg Boss 14, Abhinav had actually accepted that the couple had faced some issues during the lockdown but he had also added that the two had sorted out the differences.
In their Bigg Boss 14 journey to date, the couple has been each other’s support system and were even seen celebrating karwachauth in a very heart touching sequence. It’s indeed heartbreaking that the two have been carrying such a weight in their hearts all this while. especially in a house where they can’t run the risk of discussing this with each other.
