Any time Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh make public appearances together, it always looks like they’re having a lot of fun. The two have not just been giving us couple goals but also BFF goals, whether it’s at their wedding after-party, BTS at movie sets or their PDA during award functions. Last night was no different, as the couple was seen having a blast at the ’83 wrap-up bash.
According to reports, it was Deepika who threw the party for the entire crew of ’83. The movie is based on the real-life events surrounding India winning the 1983 Cricket World Cup and stars Ranveer as the then captain, Kapil Dev, while Deepika plays Romi Dev, Kapil Dev’s wife. The couple, who was seen twinning in white at the party, lived up to the theme by pretending to play some cricket. Take a look at this video from the party.

It wasn’t all just fun and games though, Ranveer and Deepika also made it to the dance floor in order to groove to their favourite songs in quintessential DeepVeer style. Take a look at these videos.
According to various news agencies, Deepika wanted to celebrate the journey of filming ’83. She even wrote personal handwritten notes for the entire cast and crew of the movie while inviting them to the party.
We can’t wait for the release of yet another blockbuster starring Ranveer Singh, and we’re even more excited to see the couple share screen space after a long time. This is the duo’s first collaboration since tying the knot in 2018. Earlier, they were seen together in superhit movies like Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. Directed by Kabir Khan, ’83 is based on India’s historic win in the 1983 World Cup and is slated to release on April 10, 2020. The film also stars Saqib Saleem, Hardy Sandhu, Ammy Virk and Tahir Bhasin, among others.
