It was just a couple of months ago that Tollywood heartthrob Rana Daggubati took us all by surprise as he announced his engagement with designer Miheeka Bajaj, revealing a love story that remained unknown to the world till then. ‘I found love,’ Rana declared, catalyzing speculations about a lockdown wedding.
Well, Rana and Miheeka finally tied the knot yesterday i.e. August 8th. Pictures from the intimate wedding are already breaking the internet and we just can’t stop gushing at these snippets from the first major celeb wedding during the lockdown. A close-knit affair, the wedding took place at the Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad while the bride and groom got married as per both Telugu and Marwari traditions.

Love, Laughter, And Happily Ever After
If there’s one thing consistent about every single picture from Rana-Miheeka’s wedding then it has to be the love that the two exude for each other. As quite apparent from the pictures, the two could hardly take their eyes off each other and man, isn’t that just too precious? Honestly, our hearts weren’t prepared for this!

The Resplendent Bride And Groom
Truly in the spirit of a lockdown wedding, the bride and groom opted for subdued hues of ivory and gold as the choice of colour palette for their complementing outfits. Rana looked all glorious in a traditional mundu and kurta outfit enhanced with luxurious zari. However, it was Miheeka who left us stunned in her Anamika Khanna beauty. Beautifully adorned in zardozi, chikankari, and gold metalwork, the handmade lehenga took 10,000 hours to make. Miheeka completed the look with a woven gold dupatta to match with Rana’s outfit.
She paired her lehenga with Kundan jewels beautifully enhanced with green enamel and pearls from her mother’s brand, Krsala:

An Intimate Albeit Star-Studded Affair
While the wedding was a close-knit affair with mostly Rana and Miheeka’s family in attendance, some of Rana’s closest friends from the industry did make it to the wedding to celebrate the day with him. His very good friend Samantha Ruth Prabhu was present at all the ceremonies throughout the wedding festivities.
Superstar Ram Charan also made it to the wedding and wished the couple by tweeting, “Finally my hulk is married. wishing @ranadaggubati #miheeka a very happy life together!!”
