Ever since Rahul Krishna Vaidya proposed to Disha Parmar on national television, we have been digging to know more. NGL, while Rahul was locked inside the BB house and Disha was outside waiting for him, their love story gave us how-to-make-an-LDR-work kind of vibes. However, there’s no distance anymore and the lovebirds are together IRL. Obviously, there were too many questions in our head and lucky for us, RKV recently answered all of them.
In a recent interview post the BB finale, the singer was asked if his proposal to Disha was a publicity gimmick. To that, Rahul replied, “No comments at all. I think people pursue things in the way they are. I will never fake my most special emotions for votes or strategy. That’s not how I play. I believe in winning with dignity and losing with grace.” Moreover, the Bigg Boss 14 runner-up confirmed that he’d be tying the knot with his girlfriend in June 2021.
While talking about his ladylove, RKV mentioned that he realised his true feelings for Disha inside the BB house. His changing relationships with all gharwalas made him feel more deeply for his bond with the actress. The Yaad Teri singer also revealed that Disha had told him once that she wanted nothing less than a grand proposal. Interestingly enough, even Disha wasn’t prepared to get such a dreamy proposal in front of the entire nation. Brownie points for that, Rahul!
Rahul did not win the Bigg Boss trophy but his girlfriend posted a sweet pic with him on her Instagram handle and wrote, “My trophy is Home!” Isn’t that adorable?
