Remember Dev Patel? The actor who shot to fame after featuring in Oscar-winning movie Slumdog Millionaire? Well, he recently starred in a British-American film, The Wedding Guest, which released in the US on March 1, 2019. Dev featured in the movie opposite ace Bollywood actress Radhika Apte.

The Wedding Guest is directed by Michael Winterbottom and also stars Made In Heaven actor Jim Sarbh. It revolves around the life of a mysterious Britisher who takes a journey from Leicester to Pakistan to kidnap a young woman.
The movie recently made headlines when clips and pictures from its sex scene, featuring the lead pair, Radhika Apte and Dev Patel, went viral on social media. The video has the two actors getting intimate for a lovemaking scene in the film.
Radhika was furious by the uproar caused and said in an interview to an online portal that she holds “the psychotic mentality of the society” responsible for it. She said, “The film The Wedding Guest has many other beautiful sequences and the fact that one particular sex scene got leaked because of the psychotic mentality of the society. The leaked sex scene featured both Radhika Apte and Dev Patel in it. But the scenes are being spread in my name. Why are they not getting spread under the male actor Dev Patel’s name?”

This won’t be the first time that Radhika Apte’s movie made headlines because of a leaked sex scene. A video of the actress from Anurag Kashyap’s short film, Madly, had also been leaked in 2016. Moreover, her scenes with Adil Hussain from Leena Yadav’s Parched also made their way to the internet before the movie was released.
In a previous interview, Radhika was asked about if she’s comfortable with nudity. Talking about featuring in adult scenes, Radhika told a leading daily, “I have been brought up watching world cinema and I have travelled a lot so I am very comfortable with my body. I have seen people performing nude on stage in India and abroad.”
On the work front, Radhika Apte has featured in hit Netflix series’ Sacred Games and Ghoul. The actress will next be seen opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Raat Akeli Hai, a crime thriller directed by Honey Trehan. She currently has an international project in her kitty, titled Liberte: A Call to Spy, in which she portrays the role of real life WWII spy Nora Baker.
