Trust Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas to stun you every time they make a public appearance. While we were still recovering from the hangover of their dreamy wedding that took place in the palatial Umaid Bhawan in Jodhpur, they made us fall for them by looking picture perfect yet again at their Mumbai reception last evening.
PeeCee was seen clad in a blue and gold outfit with brocade work designed by none other than ace designer Sabyasachi. Her corset choli gave the ensemble a very contemporary twist and we couldn’t help but drool over her. Handsome hubby Nick Jonas was seen wearing a grey tux, and well, he looked too suave to handle.
The couple who has always said beautiful things about each after they went public with their relationship seemed to be continuing that tradition.
At their reception, which was organised for the media peeps only, the couple gave heartwarming speeches for each other and the media just couldn’t stop hooting. Priyanka spoke about how she wanted to introduce her husband to people who have been prominent in making her who she is today. She thanked her mother Madhu Chopra for hosting the lovely evening and reminisced about how much she misses her dad. She ended her speech by saying, “And this is my husband Nick Jonas!” Can she get any cuter?
Well, hubby Nick is no less when it comes to showering love on his bride. He thanked the media and the people for accepting him with open arms and giving the couple immense love. She spoke about how he had met Madhu to ask for Priyanka’s hand. He concluded his speech by thanking his beautiful wife and said that he couldn’t be happier. This totally made PeeCee blush!
