Stealing Clothes & Double Dates: Priyanka Chopra & Ranveer Singh’s Banter Is Making Us LOL

Ranveer Singh’s love for Jiju Nick Jonas has always amazed us and it’s made Priyanka Chopra jealous. After all, she did call out the actor for giving Nick the ‘special treatment’ just recently. And now, the Bollywood-turned-Hollywood queen got candid in a live chat with her dear friend Ranveer about her memoir, Unfinished.

The duo opened up about their camaraderie and recalled some fun moments from the time they worked together in Gunday. Ranveer and Priyanka also spoke about their spouses, Nick Jonas and Deepika Padukone, and going out on a double date! In fact, the actress also teased Ranveer for sending his ‘jiju’ a customised Nutella jar and not her. In turn, Ranveer went on to praise the American pop singer for being a ‘fine gentleman’ while adding that he met Nick at Priyanka’s wedding reception in Mumbai back in December 2018. 

“I must say he is a fine gentleman, extremely chivalrous, very very warm. We chilled together. He is a lot of fun,” said Ranveer.

Responding to his praise for Nick, Priyanka shared that she can’t wait to go out on a double date with Ranveer and Deepika. She went on to ask the actor if he ‘steals’ clothes from his wife’s wardrobe. “Listen, I have a question for you. Do you borrow or like to steal clothes from Deepika?” asked the actor-author. 

Denying stealing clothes from Deepika’s wardrobe, Ranveer pointed out that he has a ‘cooler’ wardrobe and it is she who steals from him! Agreeing with her Dil Dhadakne Do co-star, Priyanka revealed that Nick also has a much better wardrobe so she ends up stealing clothes from him, while adding that sometimes she wears his new clothes even before he has a chance to do so.

And that’s not all. Ranveer made another confession during his chat with Priyanka, that truly cracked us up! The Gully Boy actor revealed that he is a total ‘janaani’ (gossiping aunty) and always asks PeeCee to spill the tea whenever he meets her. We’re totally loving the camaraderie between this dynamic duo!

 

For those unaware, Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra worked on multiple films together including Gunday, Bajirao Mastani and Dil Dhadakne Do. Priyanka’s husband Nick Jonas and Ranveer share a great bond with each other which is pretty evident as the two regularly indulge in some fun social media banter. Earlier, Ranveer had left a fun desi comment on Nick’s workout video which read, “Oho, Jiju! Dolle-Sholle.”

And when Ranveer shared a video on World Nutella Day announcing a contest wherein the winner would get a personalised Nutella jar, Nick left him a fun response. “I’m gonna enter. I’m hoping I get one of those custom RANVEER jars,” commented the American singer. And Ranveer wasn’t going to disappoint his beloved ‘jiju’. The actor took to Instagram stories to share a picture of a Nutellar jar with Nick’s photo on it with a message that read, “Khaas apne jiju ke liye @nickjonas. Special consignment coming your way.”

Well, this trio’s banter has us cracking up. We can’t wait to see what happens when Deepika joins the gang! We’re all for this celebrity double date, what about you?
