Meghan Markle’s newborn son Archie is already a celebrity! The three-week-old baby has already met his grandmother (who happens to be the Queen), all the British royals (who are family, btw) and some of Meghan’s famous friends. But the latest celebrity couple that paid the royal baby a visit was the most special one. According to a UK-based web portal, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas visited Meghan and her baby over the weekend.
Priyanka Chopra became BFFs with Meghan Markle when the latter was shooting for the TV series Suits. Priyanka was even one of the bridesmaids at Meghan’s royal wedding with Prince Harry.
However, Priyanka Chopra and Meghan Markle’s friendship has been in the news over the past year. There were rumours that Priyanka was miffed with the Duchess of Sussex because she did not attend the actress’ wedding in Jodhpur. According to the grapevine, PeeCee was angry and hence, did not attend Meghan’s baby shower, clearly indicating that their friendship had hit a rough patch. However, the Quantico actress dispelled all the rumours when she visited Meghan’s baby, Archie, along with her singer husband Nick Jonas.
Priyanka and Nick visited Meghan and Archie in Windsor last weekend. The Duchess of Sussex resides there with her son and her husband Prince Harry at Frogmore Cottage. The Jonases curated presents from the jewellery outlet Tiffany & Co. The store reported that the couple purchased numerous goodies, which included a US$250 bubble blower.

A source close the royal reporter, Emily Andrews, revealed, “They (Priyanka and Nick) thought baby Archie was just adorable and Meg is loving her new life. She (Meghan) looked fantastic and has taken to life as a mum swimmingly.”
While PeeCee did not post any pictures from her Windsor visit, she did drop a subtle hint on Instagram. The actress shared a cryptic picture of some bread and ‘British butter’ on a wooden cutting board and captioned it, “Where do you think I am?”
Earlier, when Prince Harry made the happy announcement about baby Archie, PeeCee took to Instagram to congratulate the blessed couple.
Well, looks like all’s well between the two BFFs. We cannot wait to see pictures of doting aunt Priyanka cooing over the royal baby.
Priyanka and Nick have spent the past couple of weeks overseas. They made a stunning appearance at the Met Gala, followed by their Cannes Film Festival debut (wherein the couple dazzled us with their fabulous outfits). From there, Priyanka headed on a trip to Ethiopia as the UNICEF brand ambassador to highlight the issues of refugee kids living in the country.
