Something that started off as a mere coincidence at the Met Gala 2017 has now led to a ‘happily ever after’. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are officially married. NickYanka took to their respective Instagram handles to share the news and it took cyberspace by storm.
Their beaming smiles and gorgeous outfits made our hearts melt. However, we’ve been glued to our social media accounts waiting for more pictures from their extravagant wedding. But the wait is over now!
Priyanka took to her Instagram account to share a video and series of pictures from their sangeet ceremony that prove their celebrations were no less than an awards show. She wrote a moving caption with the carousel of pictures that read, “It all began as a fierce song & dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love. Nick and I were looking forward to the Sangeet (musical evening), another pre-wedding ritual.. and to see what each side had put together. And what a performance it was. Each family telling our stories through song and dance, filled with lots of laughter and love. We were both filled with gratitude for the effort, the love, and the laughter and will carry the memories of this special evening for the rest of our lives. It is an amazing start to a lifetime of togetherness for our families and friends.. #grateful”
In the pictures, you can see families and friends perform on stage and add glamour and fun to the sangeet. Priyanka is seen clad in a gold and cream shimmery saree while Nick is seen sporting a royal blue kurta with ivory pyjamas.
Priyanka can be seen dancing to her heart’s content with her confidant and mother Madhu Chopra.
