The oh-so-pretty Preity Zinta is back in action with an upcoming Bollywood thriller, Bhaiaji Superhit, and we can’t wait to see her on the big screen again. The actress is coming back after five years. Her last movie as the female lead was Ishkq in Paris and was a major flop at the box office. However, if her latest look for the promotions of this film is to be considered seriously, we are not too sure if Bhaiaji will be a ‘Superhit’ either.
Yesterday, at the press interview for the movie at JW Mariott Mumbai, Juhu, Preity’s outfit broke our heart and we have her stylist, Leepakshi Ellawadi, to blame.

She dressed Preity for the event in a knock-off. Sure, we wanted to see Preity Zinta back in Bollywood but not like this!

Preity wore a Zimmerman knock-off (remember Shraddha Kapoor’s peach dress that we loved so much?) in navy blue by Forever Unique to the event. Yes, the exact same mini dress in a dark floral print with identical crochet details, and a V-neckline. Have a look at the original dress:

The only difference is the navy blue colour and the neckline that is not as plunging as the one in the OG dress.

Preity completed the look with a pair of black-heeled sandals by ShoeRepublicLA – the second thing about this outfit that is making us sad. The dress would have looked better with a pair of slim black heels instead of these chunky ones, don’t you think?
Her hoops earrings, pendant necklace, and bracelet were by Swarovski. However, we would have skipped the bracelet owing to the statement-making bell sleeves and their charm. And the necklace could have been skipped as well.
