Thanks to my mother, I now know almost every Hindi serial that airs on Indian television. I’m actually pretty fascinated with this one show, RadhaKrishn. It’s an Indian mythological series that’s based on the love saga of Lord Krishna and Hindu Goddess, Radha. Actress, Mallika Singh, hails from Jammu & Kashmir and is currently playing the role of ‘Radha’. Apart from her innocent features, I’ve also noticed her hair and makeup. Her two braids remind me of my signature hairstyle in school but the only difference was that there were no flowers in the picture. It looks like she’s brought this hairstyle trend back (with a floral twist, of course!). Doesn’t she look lovely here?
In fact, I know a friend who styled her mane in a similar fashion. Instead of two braids, she’s stuck to one. To be honest, I think it looks quite cute on her. Like Mallika, she too has gone with tiny flowers instead of big, chunky ones. She’s placed multiple flowers one after the other along the braid and I think it may actually look cool if worn to a night occasion like a date night or a wedding. This is probably her version of Radha’s iconic hairstyle.
