When it comes to romance that began in the Bigg Boss house, not all of them survive after the season ends. However, with Pavitra Punia and Eijaz Khan, quite the opposite has happened. Their relationship started off with a lot of friction and fights…but ultimately, they fell in love! And now, they are undoubtedly one of our fave BB jodis. Over the course of the past few months, these two have given us #CoupleGoals, and our hearts fill up with joy every time we hear one of them gushing about the other.
Pavitra and Eijaz have never shied away from talking about their relationship publically, and the couple recently also hinted that they might tie the knot ‘very soon‘. But a lot of fans are curious about what their parents think of their union, especially given that they are from different religious backgrounds.
In a recent interview, Pavitra opened up about her interfaith relationship with Eijaz. She said both their families know about them and are happy, but have advised them to take things slow. “Both Eijaz and my family know about us. His father, brother and extended family everyone knows because they watched us on television. My family is aware, my brother knows he stays with me so he meets Eijaz. My extended family is also aware about Eijaz. I think if there would have been any problem we would have learnt about it. But with God’s grace there has been no such issue. Everyone is advising us to go slowly, know each other well and take time.”
She also revealed that while her father is ‘chilled out’, her mother is a little apprehensive. “My mom is a little worried because it is a different culture completely. So my mother keeps telling me to first know each other well and understand each other. On the other hand, my father is very chilled out, he is like a live-in, I don’t mind, but before taking that big step, know each other well and be sure if you want to spend the rest of your life together. Eijaz is also of the same mindset because he also knows that the religion is different. Everyone is happy about our relationship but they want us to go slow.”
The couple was recently in the spotlight as Pavitra celebrated her birthday in lockdown with none other than her boo. And of course, Eijaz worked hard to make it an extra special one for his lady love! He also took to Instagram to share pictures from the intimate celebrations. “Happy budday baby….. keep smiling.. keep shining.. i love you.. #lockdown me happy baby #pavitra ki pawty ..with #ek too much cake ho gaya,” he wrote in his caption. In the photos shared by him, Pavitra can be seen posing with balloons, cakes, and, of course, her boo.
