Just three months into 2021 and we’ve already seen some of the best celeb weddings. Varun Dhawan, Dia Mirza, Jasprit Bumrah and a few other celebs blessed our feeds with their gorgeous shaadi pictures. But we’ve got a lot more hopes from this year (read– Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding). And with wedding season just around the corner, it looks like that there might be another celeb wedding happening soon.
Taking to Instagram, Parth Samthaan shared a video of himself all dressed up as a groom. And according to his caption, the actor is getting married in four days. “Yeah, when m I getting married?? There you go #4daystogo #bts #hero #mhbrh #weddingvibes,” read the caption.
But hold your horses, guys. Did the video fool you too? Well, guess this is what happens with all those who just live for celebrity wedding pictures. The video shared by the actor is a sneak peek into his upcoming ALT Balaji web series Main Hero Boll Raha Hu. The show is set to release on the OTT platform on April 20. However, Parth’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay co-stars Pooja Banerjee and Shubhaavi Choksey are upset with the actor. Commenting on the post, Pooja asked the actor if he didn’t invite her to the wedding because of the COVID-19 lockdown guidelines. Shubhaavi, on the other hand, questioned Parth about getting married without her presence. Well, we’re totally loving this shaadi banter. Take a look:
Parth is set to play the role of an underworld don in the upcoming web series. He has been sharing his looks, teasers, trailers and some BTS videos from the show on his social media. In fact, in a recent interview with a leading daily, Parth opened up about his character and signing the web series.
Parth also revealed that he had to take up smoking in order to do justice to his character. The Kasautii Zindagii Kay actor shared that he had to grow his hair long and wear loud outfits in order to get into the skin of the character. “I understood why people get addicted to it. Thanks to my friends, I have finally managed to kick smoking,” said Parth.
We must say that we’re a tiny bit disappointed that Parth is not getting married in real life. But we’re also excited to see him back on screen in his new avatar.
