Nushrratt Bharuccha rose to fame after Pyar Ka Punchnama where she featured opposite Kartik Aryan. Since then, there has been no looking back for this starlet. She’s proved herself time and again with her impressive performances. Her latest work in Ajeeb Daastaans on Netflix was highly appreciated.
Recently, during an interview with a leading daily, the actress shared that she enjoys a challenging role and that’s what attracts her to a film. And that’s probably what led her to producer Raaj Shaandilyaa’s next film, titled Janhit Mein Jaari.
In the upcoming movie, the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actress will be seen portraying the role of a condom sales executive. Yes, you read that right! The comedy venture will see Nushrratt hopping between selling condoms at medical stores and running promotions in different areas of the locality. “The film also focuses on the repercussions she faces in her personal life due to her profession, which is rare for a woman,” adds the maker of the film.
Interestingly, this venture will mark the second time the duo will come together. Their first project was Dream Girl.
While Janhit Mein Jaari was all set to go on floor on April 25 this year, the shoot had been pushed due to the surge in the number of COVID-19 cases. If everything goes well, the makers are planning to start shooting in August. “We are planning to shoot in Chanderi and Bhopal. For her part, Nushrratt will also learn the nuances of the local language,” said Raaj Shaandilyaa. The film also stars Ravi Kishan and Amyra Dastur.
