American pop singer and our very own National jiju Nick Jonas just unveiled the music video of his latest song, Spaceman. And it has us swooning! The video showcases Nick as a man separated from all his loved ones as he roams another planet. And while the video made us a little sad, it also has a silver lining, it features Priyanka Chopra–as a hologram!
We know that’s cuteness overload but hold on, there’s more. In a recent live chat, our beloved jiju opened up about Spaceman. And Priyanka dropped in to say hi to the singer’s fans, but it’s what she did afterwards that made our hearts melt even more (if that’s even possible)!
While Nick was interacting with his fans, the Bollywood-turned-Hollywood queen interrupted the singer with a kiss as she waved to the viewers. Turning back to the camera, Nick said, “She is the inspiration to the album and the inspiration to everything in my life.”

Taking to Instagram, Nick also shared an adorable picture with Priyanka along with several other throwback pictures from the time when they were away. “Writing this album was a way to process everything that was happening in the world, the distance between us, and what matters most,” said the singer in his caption.
Earlier, the singer had also shared a few pictures from the launch party of the music video which was held at the couple’s home. In fact, Nickyanka also got a large dummy of an astronaut installed and even posed with it. And trust us, Priyanka’s cheeky picture with the astronaut will make you crack up!
For the unversed, Nick had earlier revealed that it was when Priyanka was shooting for The Matrix 4 in Germany when he was inspired to write the song. The American singer shared that he was alone and felt disconnected from the world as he missed Priyanka. And now during the launch of the music video, Nick said that the concept of isolation is inspired by his love for his wifey.
Opening up about his latest song in a recent interview with Apple Music, Nick said, “So Spaceman came into my mind because I was thinking, ‘What’s the one thing that all of us have felt during this time?’ It’s just completely disconnected from the world. We’ve gotten so accustomed to looking at a screen instead of human interaction, and I think the thing that keeps us all encouraged and hopeful is just the idea of knowing that there will be a tomorrow when this isn’t our reality, and I think the body of work as a whole tracks that.”
FYI, this isn’t the first music video of the Jonas Brothers that our desi girl has featured in. Priyanka was also a part of Jonas Brothers’ What A Man Gotta Do and Sucker.
