Nach Baliye is all set to make a comeback on the small screen on 19th July and this time, it has a huge twist. Previously, the show focused on only bringing together couples in a reality show dance-off, but now it will also include ex-couples. For now, four of the couples have been unveiled and the rest will be named during the grand launch event.
One of the four couples include exes Urvashi Dholakia, who rose to fame with her portrayal of Komolika and Anuj Sachdev, who is currently a part of the TV show, Ek Bhram…Sarvagun Sampanna. Chandrakanta actors, Vishal Aditya Singh and Madhurima Tuli, who have had an on-and-off relationship since the show began in 2017 are also going to be on the show. Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy will also participate in the competition alongside Shraddha Arya (of Kumkum Bhagya fame) and her ex-boyfriend, Alam Makkar.
The three jodis that include Vishal Aditya Singha, Urvashi Dholakia and Anita Hassanandani will go around different clubs in Mumbai to promote Nach Baliye. “This season the audience will get to see a battle between the ex-couples and some current ones. The makers have kept all the contestant and shoot details under complete wraps – only revealing minimalist details about the contestant. Likewise, they are looking at doing a unique launch to give a sneak peek to the live audience. In the coming week, 3 of the Jodi’s from the show will be going club hopping in Mumbai suburbs roaming around the city in a Limousine,” the source said.
The producers are pumping money into the show and leaving no stone unturned in promoting the jodis. The source said that, ever since Salman Khan has been finalised as the host, Nach Baliye has been aiming to be larger than life, “The makers have spent as good as 4 lakhs only for this launch, sourcing these high-end cars from outside Mumbai. This is the first time Salman is producing Nach Baliye and he has given clear mandates to the team that everything has to be larger than life. The partygoers in the city should be ready to get surprised by these Jodis in the clubs this week.”
