Fans of Doli Armaano Ki actor Mohit Malik and wife Aditi Shirwaikar Malik–we’ve got some good news for you! The couple recently took to social media to announce that they’re about to become parents for the first time. Well…researchers did give us a heads-up about a pandemic baby boom. But don’t get us wrong! We’re not complaining, we’re truly elated.
However, we couldn’t help but notice that this lovely television couple’s pregnancy announcement was very similar to Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s announcement. Wondering how? Mohit posted a sunkissed photo of the couple with his hand on the baby bump with a caption that read, “As I place my hand on you…I say thank you ..for choosing us! Thank you lord for this beautiful awakening experience which we are through right now.”

On the other hand, Aditi posted a picture flaunting her glorious baby bump. But we’re totally eyeing her obvious pregnancy glow. Aditi posted two pictures, with the first one captioned ‘Waheguru’. The caption on the other one read, “God knew even before we knew that we needed you..Our souls met.. Let’s grow together…Baby Malik..”
FYI baby Malik is set to arrive in May 2021 according to media reports.
For the uninitiated, Mohit and Aditi were co-stars in Miilee in 2005, but the two bonded while working together for Banoo Main Teri Dulhan in 2006. In April 2006, Mohit proposed to Aditi and the two eventually got engaged in July 2010. They went on tie the knot in December 2010.
On the work front, Mohit Malik is currently portraying the lead role of Dhruv Jaiswal in Lockdown Ki Love Story opposite Sana Sayyad. On the other hand, after her last television stint in Chabbis Barah, Aditi has featured in the music video of the song Tahe Dil Se Shukriya alongside Arjun Bijlani, Srishty Rode and others. Aditi also owns three restaurants located in Mumbai in partnership with Simple Kaul and Vatsala Rajeev Raj. Oshiwara’s The Homemade Cafe and 1BHK Brew House Kitchen, and Juhu’s The Homemade Cafe and Bar are all owned by the television actress.
Well…we wish Daddy and Mommy Malik all the best for Baby Malik’s arrival! We can’t wait for the cute baby pictures!
