Mohena Kumari, the actress who portrays the role of the second lead Keerti on the show, is all set to marry her fiancé in the next two months. In a conversation with a leading daily, the actress also confirmed that she will be getting engaged in the second week of February 2019.
Back in October 2018, a picture of Mohena started doing the rounds with an unknown man, all dressed up in their ethnic best. When the rumour mills started churning back then, she denied them and said “There is nothing concrete as of now. When something happens, will let you know.” Looks like the actress was waiting for the wedding date to be set before confirming the good news.
Mohena Kumari Singh also happens to the princess of Rewa. The actress started her career as a dancer in Dance India Dance and then moved on to be a part of shows like Jhalak Dikhla Jaa after which she landed the role of the beautiful and demure Keerti in YRKKH. In the same interview, she also talked about her future in the show and said “It’s nothing like that as of now. If according to the story, going ahead Kirti dies, then it’s the makers call, a creative call. But I, from my end am not quitting the show.” She also added, “I haven’t put down papers or anything as such and I don’t want to also. I am very proud that I am a part of a show that is going on for 10 years and literally I am a part of history. I am very happy. As long as I can do Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, I will do it. But if the makers want Keerti to die then I don’t know what to do. We will have to wait and watch what happens on the show.” We’re sure this will come as a relief to all the fans of the show who’ve been upset since the track where Keerti goes into a coma began.
