Even though Mira Rajput isn’t a star in her own right, these two years of being a celebrity wife have really put her on the map. Whether this is thanks to her active social media giving us BTS footage of the ongoing of the Kapoor household or her cute daughter Misha or the appearances she makes with hubby Shahid.
In a recent interview, Mira spoke about her pillar of support and love of her life, Shahid. She said, “Shahid is an extremely loving and supportive husband. It comes naturally to him. The smallest things he does make me smile and feel so loved, like when I wake him up in the middle of the night with a foot cramp and he soothes it. Or how hands-on he is with Misha and has really made sure she doesn’t feel the lack of my attention and presence, especially in these last few weeks where I can’t pick her up or play very much with her. It’s everything put together. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner to walk beside me through this journey.”
The two are now expecting their second child and their baby girl Misha is all ready to become a big sister.
Mira recently got trolled on the internet for endorsing an anti-ageing cream, Olay. She said that while shooting for the ad she was a “bundle of nerves” as that’s not her comfort zone. She also opened up about how she doesn’t let the haters get to her, she said, “The internet is one platform that is accessible to everyone. People can say what they feel and it gives everyone the right to express themselves the way they want and to what extent they feel like. So, there will be opinions. It’s not that everyone is going to love you. I have always spoken for myself and I have never shied away from expressing what I truly feel.”
She even shared the sweetest detail about her pregnancy saying that it is so special because she can share it with her daughter too. She said, “Being able to bring a life into this world, feel it grow inside, and being able to connect with the baby before it has actually even arrived is surreal. And this time it’s been so interesting to see how Misha has been through the entire process. She knows there is a baby inside and she says, “Hi Baby!” every day to my tummy.”
