Desi weddings are all about fun, happiness, lots of dancing and a whole lot of drinking. It’s usually a full-blown three-day affair with two families celebrating the love between the couple. Of course, to make the event even more special the bridesmaids and groomsmen make sure they do their best. And what’s best without some dhamakedar performances?
Well, the majority of times friends of the dulha-dulhan take over the sangeet and show off their moves. But, this wedding was thoda hatke. ‘Coz they even brought their thumkas to the D-day. Welcoming the baraat with style, these ladkiwalas did an unforgettable flashmob.
Dancing to Gud Naal from the film, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, these guys did a fun bhangra performance with scarves. The energy looks so contagious that even we want to join in the fun.

Kudos to Aksheeta from Dynasty of Dance for choreographing the entire set. It looks super fabulous!
However, this was not the only performance from this big, fat, desi shaadi that caught our eye. The bride, Shrutika Singh Rana also set the stage on fire with her moves on Le Gayi Le Gayi from Dil Toh Pagal Hai. But, the bridesmaids can step aside because this pretty lady grooved along with her fav men. (Well, apart from the one she’s marrying.)
Their destination wedding was obviously grand and took place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Bahrain. Shrutika Rana and the groom Lakshya Roopchandani also picked up the most aww-dorable hashtag #RoopTeraMastRrana.

For her wedding functions, Shrutika chose to wear a pastel pink lehenga with intricate embroidery. She kept her makeup subtle focusing on nailing that fresh, blushing bridal look. She paired it with diamond accessories and wow, she looks drop-dead-gorgeous.
They also had a souk-themed function for which Shrutika wore a blue and gold skirt with a blouse. The blouse had puffed sleeves and fit the theme perfectly.
The groom, Lakshay, wore a white dhoti with a self patterned bandhgala. With a red pocket square and a wide smile, he looked absolutely dapper.
We are sending all our love to Shrutika and Lakshay. You guys make the sweetest couple and we hope your love continues to grow. ❤
