Kuch Kuch Hota Hai marked Karan Johar’s debut as a director and gave us the most amazing onscreen trio – Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherji. The film was a blockbuster back in 1998 and even today we love Rahul, Anjali and Tina. The film created a milestone in the career of the actors and has stayed with us too.
Yesterday, it completed 20 years in the film industry and Karan Johar couldn’t keep calm. He took to Twitter to share his excitement mixed with nostalgia.

While most people would congratulate each other on their movie anniversary, KJo had his own way to celebrate the occasion. The director threw a grand bash to celebrate 20 years of one of his most special films. The party saw all his close friends dressed in their hottest ensembles adding glam to the evening. Karan took to his Instagram stories to give a sneak peek into the part and also shared a picture of the KKHH hamper!
We all love KKHH for its feel but guess what? That’s not now SRK felt about it when he heard the script from KJo. Shah Rukh said, “Karan came and narrated an utterly nonsense crap story to me; which is certainly not the one that finally you people saw in the film. In his strange way Karan, the man with many words tried to impress me with his crap story. So yes, I really did not understand the story when I signed in. and I am glad that I did not get into the story and just went ahead with the conviction of Karan, otherwise the film would have not been the way it came out.”
Varun Dhawan shared his favourite moment from the film. Can you guess which one? It’s Salman Khan’s entry in Saajanji Ghar Aaye. This scene inspired Varun to become an actor.
