One obsession that Bollywood is suffering from, lately, is the all-pink pantsuit. We’re all for it, too, but every now and then there are moments that make us want to steer clear of the trend.
The thing is, pink is a trickier colour than you’d think. Yes, even with respect to a co-ord pair. There are some dos and don’ts that come with every trend, including the H2T pink outfit.
Let’s start with the don’ts and get those out of the way. Kiara Advani’s outfit sighting last night is one of them.
Since pink is far from being a neutral colour, it’s better not to go overboard with shiny and reflective fabrics such as satin, sateen and most of all – velvet.
Second, when you plan on working a pink pantsuit or co-ord ensemble, try avoiding peachy shades.

Kiara Advani faltered there and scored a double-strike by wearing head-to-toe peach-pink and that too, in velvet. The Bollywood actress wore a bustier crop top with matching high-waisted flared pants, over which she layered a casual blazer… all coral-pink velvet.

On top of all that, the outfit isn’t structured thanks to the velvet, so Kiara’s look can be described as frumpy at best.

Aditi Rao Hydari’s powder pink short-suit is ideal for a monotone ensemble. Try shades of blush, nude pink and dirty pink to ace your all-pink look.
2. Keep It Flat

Kangana Ranaut keeps her pantsuit a solid coral pink with no drama whatsoever. If you do want to mix it up, add a satin cami under the suit just like she does.
