When it comes to current heartthrob Kartik Aaryan’s love life, there are a LOT of rumours doing the rounds. From dating Sara Ali Khan to being linked to his Pati Patni Aur Woh co-star Ananya Panday, one would assume that Kartik would know a lot about what women actually want. Well, this doesn’t quite hold true in his case. Kartik, who recently went as a guest on Kareena Kapoor Khan’s radio chat show, What Women Want spilled the beans about how he knows nothing about what a woman expects from her partner.
And when a curious Kareena asked Kartik the same, his reply was pretty amusing.”Even while I was doing Pyaar Ka Punchnama, our aim was to figure out what women want. In fact, I knew a little more about it when I hadn’t done the movie,” he said. Kartik further said that the kind of character he played in the movie franchise all the more undid his dating perception about women. He added, “Even till now- after having recited 5-5 minute long monologues, I haven’t been able to figure out what women want. Basically, I could never get to know.”
He further joked that one must ask ‘Saif Sir’ about what women want. Does that mean he hinted at some tips from daddy on how to woo his daughter (Sara) back? The actor further laughed, “Mai gali gali jake- boht logon se pooch raha hoon jaake- what do you want!“. Kareena jokingly interjected to say, “Dekh rahi hoon mai“.
He further recited his famous monologue and ended it with a punch-line What Women Want. When Kareen later questioned him about his dating life, Kartik was quick to say that he believes in ‘eternal love’. On his various link-ups he said, “Main khud bhi abhi nahi jaanta ki main kya kar raha hoon life mein. Basically, main coffee pe jaata hoon, jaise aam taur pe log jaate hai. Toh har coffee pe media ke hisaab se change ho jaata hai… Coffee ki jagah meri girlfriend change ho jaati hai. (I also don’t know what I am doing. Basically, I go on coffee dates, like people normally do. According to the media, with every coffee date, my girlfriend changes).”
On the work front, Kartik’s most recent Bollywood movie, Pati Patni Aur Woh released earlier this month on December 6. He will be next seen in Love Aaj Kal 2 opposite ex-flame Sara, in Dostana 2 with Janhvi Kapoor and is also starring in the sequel of Bhool Bhulaiyaa with Kiara Advani.
