It’s time for all the Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Karan Patel fans to rejoice, as the moment they had been waiting for has finally arrived. Ever since it was announced that Karan Patel will be replacing Karan Singh Grover as the new Mr Rishabh Bajaj, his fans had been eagerly waiting to see him in the iconic look. And now, Karan Patel’s first pictures as Mr Bajaj have surfaced on the internet and we must say that we love the transformation.
Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the actor has finally begun shooting (of course, while adhering to all the safety norms) for the daily soap. In the pictures, Karan Patel can be seen donning a three-piece blue suit, which is the iconic dressing style of Mr Bajaj. He can also be seen sporting the famous salt-and-pepper look hair. With a little grey hair, a toned body and the head-held-high posture, Karan looked dapper and all set to take on his new character.
Other photos that went viral on the internet showed Karan wearing a red suit and he totally aced the look.
Karan Patel, who was last seen as Raman Bhalla in TV show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, is quite excited to play Mr Bajaj. Saying that all his roles have been appreciated by his fans till now, the actor hopes that they will like him as Mr Rishabh Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagi Kay as well.
Talking about his connection with Erica Fernandes (who plays Prerna) and Parth Samthaan (who plays Anurag Basu), Karan said that he has never met them or have had an interaction. Adding that he doesn’t know anyone on the set, the actor said, “For me, It’s going to be a new batch after a vacation”.
Reports suggest that Karan Singh Grover called it quits as he did not want to risk his health by shooting during the COVID-19 crisis. Moreover, he was not happy with the way his character was developing on the show. Now that Karan Patal has stepped into KSG’s shoes, he said that he is unfazed with comparisons as that is bound to happen.

Well, we must say that KSG set the bar really high with his portrayal of Mr Bajaj in the show, and it will certainly be interesting to see how Karan takes the baton from here on. The show is all set to start airing new episodes from July 13. Are you excited?
