Sure, those are words you rarely hear, but if you feel like taking a short break from your winter woollies this season for something breezier yet cosy, there is no harm in exploring, amirite? After all, winter is here to stay for some time (in most parts of the country), but that hardly means that you should have to sacrifice in terms of style.
Arriving at fashion forecasts much before most of us can spell it, Kangana Ranaut is undoubtedly something of a fashion soothsayer in Bollywood’s style circles. From rocking fabulous airport looks to slaying in any outfit she chooses to flaunt, Ms Ranaut certainly has a penchant for style and there is no denying it!

And, as we speak, promotions for her upcoming film Manikarnika are in full swing and that means we get to see more fashionable looks from the fashion Queen than usual. The more the merrier! As is with all of her outfits that leave us with some OOTD inspiration of our own, her latest look was a lesson in winter dressing, sans the usual chunky knits.
The actress was seen stepping out in yet another airport look, this time a printed maxi dress by ‘Global Desi’, that incorporated dainty motifs and a mix of pastel and dark hues. Bell sleeves added emphasis to the free-flowing maxi that was teamed with boots from Jimmy Choo, along with a grey scarf from the French brand Zadig & Voltaire. Now that’s what we call the perfect mix of summer and winter staples using desi + foreign brands!

Also seen on her arm was a classic denim jacket from none other than the fashion-famous Gucci, and you can trust us when we tell you that it could form the much-needed armour against the winter chill. Kangana rounded off her look with a yellow tote from Zara that added a pop of colour, accompanied by her trademark curls, and that swagger that makes every place her fashion runway.
Maxi dress+denim jacket+scarf+boots+(layers underneath) equals winning winter fashion. *wink*
