In a world where relationships are so fragile that they break at the drop of a hat, we have another relationship that gave us true hope for love but has now been called quits.
Although some reports say they actually split almost a year ago, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux formally announced the end of their two-year marriage just earlier today. The two started dating in 2011 and got married in 2015. But not all ends have to be tragic and theirs is one separation that is on absolute mutual grounds. Jennifer made sure she announced it to the public via a daily publication.
Clearly, from their statement, they assure that they remain good friends and that they split at the end of last year. While it hurts our heart just a little to see them break things off, the fact that they have ended on such great terms gives us another ray of hope. There is nothing more precious than seeing two people be cordial even though the relationship has ended. Sometimes, despite constant efforts, love and respect, some relationships don’t stand the test of time and cutting the cord at that point is a hard but sensible decision. What matters more at this time is to not let things turn sour and move on in life with the same spirit that you had when you entered that relationship. Yes, it’s easier said than done but who said life was easy anyway, huh?
Aniston announced this after her 49th birthday which was celebrated at her friend, Courtney Cox’s house in Malibu with a selective guest list.
As widely known, the former Friends star was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005. She has also dated Vince Vaughn and John Mayer after her first divorce. It was Justin’s first marriage after his 14-year-old long relationship with Heidi Bivens.
Speaking of Jennifer’s wedding with Brad Pitt, after Pitt’s fall out with Angelina Jolie happened mid last year, both the stars are currently single. But we’re not ones to jump the gun so we wish both of them a very blessed single life.
