With Diwali just around the corner, most celebrities are being spotted in fancy festive wear as they head to different parties. Last night, the Ambanis hosted a Diwali bash for their IPL team, Mumbai Indians, at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai. Celebrity couples such as Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge, Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech, Rohit Sharma and Ritika Sajdeh, to name a few, attended the party. The entire Ambani clan also came dressed in stunning outfits. And once again, Isha Ambani’s outfit got our attention.
Isha wore a turquoise blue saree and it was gorgeous, of course, but it made us stop scrolling for a different reason. Her saree reminded us a lot of Veere Di Wedding actress Swara Bhasker’s saree that she had worn last month. At first, we thought they wore the same designer, that’s how alike they look. But it turned out to be a big brand clash. Or so it seems. Let’s explore, shall we?
Isha Ambani – Sabyasachi

Isha’s entire look is by Sabyasachi, with a Benarasi silk saree adorned with illustrated floral motifs woven with pure zari. She teamed this up with a contrasting velvet blouse in maroon with gold zardosi work. She completed the look with a heritage necklace and earrings set from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery Collection.
Swara Bhasker – Raw Mango
It looks so similar, doesn’t it? Swara’s silk saree, also with zari work, is by Raw Mango. She paired it with a bright fuschia blouse and completed the look with statement earrings by Amrapali Jewels.
While Isha wore hers to a pre-Diwali party, Swara debuted the look on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. We cannot help but think if Sabya’s designs are inspired by Raw Mango. Or vice versa. But one thing’s for sure–the saree style is a hit this festive season and is celeb-approved too! Not to forget it’s perfect for the wedding season that is almost at our doorstep.
